The post independence period is being considered as the period of achievements and developments. The developments in science and technology or rather in all fields has helped our nation to attain a new face. Even though these developments made India a developing nation, it was unable to reach out these changes to each and everyone. Hence they couldn’t make a commitment of reaching these to the common people leaving in the outskirts of our country. This still remains as an imperfection in the history of our nation.

Kerala has achieved 100% literacy and are showcasing development in various sectors such as health , social living, etc. But the thing to be remembered always is that all the entire developments will be bootless if we don’t have a strong financial background. The co-operation among the people is the only way to make it practical.

Apart from the religion, caste and other discrimination between the people a feeling of selfishness should be left behind. They should have a feeling of unity and should work for the fulfillment of the social commitment. The people should be made aware of their part for the development of their society.
